I officially made Executive Platinum a couple weeks ago and I’m knee deep in figuring out the ins and outs of their elite program (more on that later).However, one of my biggest pet peeves is the lack of wifi on flights. I have a monthly Gogo pass, because nearly every single Delta flight has wifi and I really value being able to be productive while in the air - especially on trans-continental flights, which I take often.American does have wifi on some of their 767-200, 737 and MD-80 aircraft, but it’s really luck of the draw - and I’ve been drawing short this month. However, you can use this handy website “widget” to tell if your flight will have wifi within 24 hours of departure. I just did it for my Los Angeles to JFK flight today and…AA Wifi widget successIt looks like I’m in luck!
