See privacy policy.An Israeli diplomat in Chicago says his Uber driver yelled at him and kicked him out of the vehicle Thursday when he answered his phone in Hebrew.Itay Milner, deputy consul general of Israel to the Midwest, used the ride-sharing company’s app to summon a car home in Chicago around 5:30pm, the AP reports. During the ride, he answered his cell phone and said “How are you?” in Hebrew.After that, Milner says the Uber driver yelled profanities at him and ordered him to “get out now” because he was speaking Hebrew.“Uber does not tolerate any form of discrimination," an Uber spokeswoman told TPG. “We are reaching out to the rider to extend our support for the experience he described here. As soon as we were made aware of this, we removed the driver’s access from the app as we look further into this.”
