TPG reader Donna tweeted me to ask:@thepointsguy– “I’m a Hyatt Diamond member and my sister wanted to give me 12,000 points from her account. Is it easy for her to do so?“Hyatt actually makes it really easy to combine points. You can do the points transfer for free; you just have to fill out an award request form on Hyatt.com that will allow you to combine points. Once you fill out the form, email it to goldpassport@hyatt.com, or mail or fax it in.Mail:Hyatt Gold PassportCustomer ServiceP.O. Hilton will let you transfer, but for a small fee.Hyatt makes it really easy to combine points, so you can be on your way to an award night in no time.Hyatt actually has one of the most generous policies out there when it comes to transferring points. Really, the only rule is that a single member may only participate in a point-combining transaction (transferring or receiving of points) once every 30 days.If you have any other questions, please tweet me @thepointsguy, message me on Facebook or send me an email at info@thepointsguy.com.[card card-name=‘Citi ThankYou® Premier Card’ card-id=‘221410120’ type=‘javascript’ bullet-id=‘1’]
