View the current offers here – The Hyatt Credit CardWhen I first reported on Hyatt’s April 1- June 30, 2011 promo “Possibilities,” I wasn’t blown away, but I wasn’t completely bored with it either. The promotion (register here) allows you to earn 10,000 points after 5 nights and then 5,000 points for every two nights after that, up to 60,000 points in total. 60,000 points can get you 2 free nights at Hyatt’s top category 6 hotels and then another night at a Category 4 hotel - not too shabby, especially compared to the competition.Hyatt also just announced that Hyatt Visa cardholders get an additional 5,000 points after the first 5 nights and their total maximum points for the promotion is now 65,000.Not huge, but 5,000 points is a free night at a Category 1 hotel, so it’s worth noting.I’m going to do a detailed review of the Hyatt card soon, but the current offer for new cardholders is pretty enticing: 2 free nights at ANY Hyatt in the world (Diamond members get two nights in a suite), instant Platinum Hyatt Gold Passport membership, and no foreign transaction fees - all for a $75 annual fee. Note that the Hyatt card is issued by Chase, so if you want to get in on the British Airways 100,000 point extravaganza, I recommend doing that now and then applying for the Hyatt card in a couple months. The BA deal is slated to end May 6, but can be pulled at any time if Chase feels like they’ve gotten enough new members.
