See privacy policy.Berlin police arrested a suspicious man at Berlin Schoenefeld Airport (SXF) Friday morning around 8:00am. Authorities say the man was behaving erratically, dressed in a vest with “cables and wires hanging out” and wielding a beer bottle at security personnel. The German police report also stated that the man had additional luggage with him, which prompted a special forces investigation and caused airport officials to shut down parking lot P6, the alpine hut, and the glass underpass of the airport. After the inspection was complete, none of the man’s belongings were found to be harmful, and the areas that had been cordoned off were reopened to the public. No flights were affected. The police did not release the man’s identity, but confirmed that they have filed criminal charges against him.
