She texted her mom, who lives in Texas, saying she wasn’t feeling well (story of my life, hi mom!). Her mom, Shixia Huang, also got the feeling that Grace was missing home.As moms do, Shixia checked online for flights and found they were “shockingly cheap,” and booked herself on the next flight out; she landed in New York later that night. Now let’s just hope she got 5x points on airfare.Moral of the story: If you see a cheap flight, jump on it — and call your mom and tell her you love her.
