For those of us sick of this long winter, OpenTable has released their list of the 100 Best Restaurants in America for a Big Night Out, right in time for al fresco dining weather.“The list features an array of buzz-worthy restaurants, from up-and-coming to established, trendy to tried-and-true, across 24 states and Washington, DC,” said Caroline Potter, OpenTable’s chief dining officer....

Sometimes even the most powerful man in the world can’t get the simple things in life. Apparently President Donald Trump wasn’t able to find a hotel for the upcoming G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.According to the Hamburger Abendblatt, President Trump tried to book the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, but the property was already full. The US delegation was so late to the party that they couldn’t find one luxury hotel for the president, and presumably the US delegation, to stay at....

Flying like British royalty seems like a far-fetched idea to most. VIP government jets and the Royal Air Force’s Queen’s Flight are scenarios that come to mind.But newly engaged “it couple” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sacrificed any special treatment and actually roughed it in economy, according to The Daily Mail. They took an early morning British Airways flight from London Heathrow (LHR) to Nice (NCE) on New Year’s Eve.According to reports, the two boarded the regularly scheduled flight before any other passengers and took up three rows of economy seats near the toilets....

ANA’s A380s are one step closer to completion. The parts for the first ANA A380 landed in Toulouse, France, this morning at Airbus headquarters.Finally, assembly of the super jumbo will start in April. The parts delivered were the six subassemblies of the aircraft — the nose, central and aft fuselage sections, tailplane and the two wings according to Flight Global.ANA has ordered three A380-800s, which were originally allocated to SkyMark Airlines, with the first being ready for delivery to the airline in early 2019....

Traveling through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for five days in May could turn out to be hectic for travelers, and may be a situation worth avoiding if at all possible. Between May 12 and May 17, Delta Air Lines is moving from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3 at LAX. But with that move, 19 other carriers will also be forced to pack up and transport to other terminals....

As you know, I’m headed to Seoul this week and I’ve recently become adept at redeeming Korean SkyPass miles, so I got TPG editor Eric a one-way ticket on Korean’s A380 in their most up-to-date lie-flat Prestige business class to join me for 62,500 miles, which I transferred from Chase Ultimate Rewards. Here’s his review of the flight. Although it initially looked like I would have to fly on Korean Air’s Flight 2 aboard an A330 that stopped in Tokyo Narita on the way to Seoul, when I called the airline to check award availability, it turned out there were seats aboard the airline’s nonstop A380 flight, so I chose that instead not only because of the convenience factor, but also because the aircraft features the airline’s latest business class product, the Prestige Sleeper seat....

It’s not uncommon for airlines to offer more than one type of business-class seat. If you fly long-haul on American, you could end up with any one of a half dozen different biz seats — by comparison, the four varieties you might encounter on Emirates makes the airline’s fleet seem almost consistent. They do vary quite a bit when it comes to comfort and privacy, though.My favorite Emirates biz seat can be found on the carrier’s Airbus A380s, and since there are more than 100 superjumbos in its fleet at this point, there’s a decent chance you’ll end up on one....

The store received a report from a third-party source saying that from March through October 2017 some of the security encryption features on its card readers, which were installed in 2015, didn’t work properly....

A group of friends in the UK about to embark on a getaway to Mallorca, Spain, for a 30th birthday celebration hit a snag in their plans when one of their pals, Joe McGrath, dropped out at the last minute, with his plane ticket and hotel reservation already listed under his name. Instead of letting his part of the vacation — which included a flight from Bristol (BRS), UK, and a stay at an all-inclusive resort — go to waste, they took to Facebook and soon managed to track down another Joe McGrath who lived in Manchester, UK, and sent him a message to see if he’d like to join them — despite the fact that they’d never met....
