Ride-hailing company Lyft has announced a new partnership with Allscripts to help patients get to their doctors’ appointments.Allscripts, an electronic medical records company, will integrate Lyft’s technology into its platform so doctors can automatically order rides for their patients.“When patients’ transportation needs are noted in [their electronic record], an automated workflow would schedule Lyft transportation for that patient. Additionally, tracking boards would provide real-time notifications of patient pickup, ETA and arrival for providers and other members of the care team,” Allscripts said in a press release....

The changes are centered around improving Uber’s ‘walk to the corner’ feature that it originally rolled out last year, and were made after users submitted feedback on their experiences using the service over the past year....

The Queen of the Skies will be flying its last flights for the Hong Kong-based carrier next week between HKG and Japan. On September 30, flight CX542 will fly from Hong Kong (HKG) to Tokyo (HND) and then the final flight, CX543, will depart Tokyo and return home to Hong Kong the next day, October 1....

A United Airlines regional jet backed into a catering truck at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on Friday afternoon.One woman, the driver of the food truck, was reportedly “slightly injured” when the two collided around 11:40am ET near Gate 26 at EWR’s Terminal A. According to NBC New York, the driver was transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Newark with an injured arm.According to officials, the aircraft had 48 people on board when it was backing out of the gate and collided with the food truck....
