So the other day, I was surprised to see an email from Delta that congratulated me on having 10,000 SkyMiles.As soon as I opened the email, I knew what had happened: The message was addressed to a former version of me, prior to a legal name change several years ago, and had been forwarded from an old email address....

The White House confirmed Wednesday that plane builder Boeing will be getting $3.9 billion to build two new Air Force One aircraft for use by future US presidents.White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed on Wednesday that the contract had been signed. “Yesterday, the United States Air Force awarded a firm fixed price contract to The Boeing Company to design, modify, test, certify and deliver two Presidential, mission-ready aircraft by 2024,” Sanders said in a statement....

Last month, the US Geological Survey Hawaiian Volcano Observatory released a report analyzing the effects of the Kilauea volcano Lower East Rift Zone (LERZ) eruption on the Big Island. One of the most notable findings? The Big Island’s coastline may have grown as much as a mile since the volcano started erupting in May.According to Benjamin Andrews, a geologist at the National Museum of Natural History, the extended coastline is a lava delta that has been building up over the past few months....

A year after Norwegian launched transatlantic flights from small regional airports on the US’ East Coast to Europe, the airline has taken delivery of Boeing 737 MAX 8s with new slimline seats that it will use on the same routes.According to a press release, Norwegian will take delivery of 12, 737 MAX 8s this year with the new seat.
