This crazy aviation video beautifully illustrates the complex process that’s required to bring the plane from thousands of parts in a warehouse to a flying machine that has a payload of over 500,000 pounds. You can see and feel the endless hours of precision work that goes into making one of these aircraft, and it’s sure to instill a sense of wonder in any avgeek.All the work takes place at Boeing’s factory in Everett, Washington (which is actually the largest building in the world by volume). The 787 starts from thousands of separate parts but with the help of countless workers is assembled into a sleek aircraft that has brought massive changes to the commercial aviation industry by connecting cities in remote parts of the world that would likely have never had nonstop flights before the arrival of the Dreamliner.
