See privacy policy.An aircraft engine caught fire as the Saudi World Cup soccer team flew to its second game of the international tournament in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, on Monday.A video shows flames shooting from the right engine of the plane, which reportedly was a Rossiya Airbus A319 registered VP-BNB.Luckily, there were no injuries, and the plane landed safely at the Rostov-on-Don Airport (ROV). The Saudi Arabian Football Federation said the fire was due to a mechanical fault with the aircraft.The aircraft was provided to the Saudi team by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which is organizing air travel for the World Cup.The team also tweeted pictures of the players deplaning safely in Rostov-on-Don Monday evening.TPG Managing Editor Alberto Riva tracked how World Cup teams flew to Russia for the top tournament, which began on Thursday — with a loss by Saudi Arabia, incidentally, which got trounced 5-0 by host country Russia in the opening game.H/T: Airlive
